Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as a host from the US at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of the show The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball have made it clear they were leaving the show in May 2021. They wanted to start their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball is co-hosting with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. Her guest appearances on the show include Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her further political interest due to the fact that she became an expectant mother in the 2008 primaries and also watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She witnessed how it affected the citizens of the country and developed an appreciation for US politics' global impact. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 1st district in the year 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 to August 2015. She established the People's House Project, an action committee that works for Democratic causes in May 2017.
