Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18, 1967 was an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly(2000) and The Cooler(2003), The History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008, Prisoners2013, Grown-Ups2010 and Lights Out (2016) are some of her film roles. Bello has appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) and also in other starring parts such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on 18 April, 1967 in Norristown in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Kathy who was a school nurse and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a poor, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In the seventh grade at Villanova University, she majored in the field of politics. Bello was a stage actor in New York and continued to develop her talents after graduating. Bello is the mother of Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. Bello was 18 when she has written about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She published a book titled Whatever...Love Is a Love: Questioning All the Labels That We Give Ourselves. (Dey Street Books. April 28 and 29, 2015).
